Engine remapping in Lausanne
stage 1 remapping.
Stage 1 consists of an engine management remapping without requiring any additional mechanical parts. It is designed to combine reliability with high‑level performance.
stage 2 remapping.
Stage 2 combines a performance‑oriented remapping with hardware modifications. On diesel engines, it includes disabling the EGR valve and the particulate filter (DPF). On petrol engines, it includes exhaust line modification and catalyst removal.
gearbox remapping.
Gearbox remapping significantly improves the speed and smoothness of gear changes. Depending on the chosen stage (stage 1 or stage 2), shift times are reduced by 20 to 30%, offering a more dynamic and responsive driving experience. It also increases the torque limiter, enhancing overall vehicle performance. By increasing clutch pressure, gearbox durability is improved, ensuring a more reliable and efficient transmission.
start & stop OFF
At times, the automatic start‑stop system can be intrusive. When restarting, it may become uncomfortable. This option disables the feature completely.
vMax OFF
This function increases or completely removes the vehicle’s maximum speed limiter.
SCR AdBlue OFF
When the AdBlue system malfunctions, a warning light and a mileage countdown appear on the dashboard. The vehicle enters limp mode and cannot be restarted once the countdown reaches zero. This option disables the system entirely.
EGR OFF
Electronic deactivation of the EGR valve. This option blocks the valve to prevent exhaust gas recirculation.
GPF DPF OFF
Electronic removal of the particulate filter on diesel engines.
CAT (decat) OFF
Electronic removal of the catalytic converter on petrol engines.
COD OFF
COD (Cylinder Deactivation) is a technology that deactivates certain cylinders when they are not needed, such as during steady‑speed driving. This can improve fuel efficiency. This option disables COD.
CS (cold start) OFF
This option disables the cold start function.
swirl flap OFF
Deactivation of swirl flaps, a system that creates airflow turbulence in the intake manifold.
sport display
On BMW vehicles, this option adjusts the sport display according to the vehicle’s new performance.
exhaust flaps
The “exhaust flaps” option opens the valves to 100% when the vehicle is in sport mode.
pop & bang
“Pop and bang” is generated by ignition retardation, causing exhaust detonations when lifting off the throttle. This should only be applied on vehicles equipped with a sport catalyst or bypass.
DSG farts
On DSG gearboxes, “farts” are small pops heard during gear shifts. Not all sports cars have this feature. This option enables the “farts”.
launch control
This improves take‑offs by keeping the engine at its optimal RPM. Launch Control maintains a specific engine speed when the clutch pedal is pressed.
E85 Flex Fuel
This option enables ethanol conversion.
